I went to the "rent office" to tell them the ceiling panels in Merton House had not been put back yet, when I was on the way to Sommerfield to get bread, oats and the Radio Times for next week

After shopping I took these panoramas
but they are a bit squashed server side

flat roofs are out - even on a porch

still here months later

this school ground is a long term disgrace and sets a bad example to the children,
or even a health and safety issue

this path has not been swept since autumn 2006

this junk has been in the school grounds for weeks

this is the gap - one of many - in the ceiling

fixing the gas pipes with new plastic liners

SNAPS ONE: after shopping at LIDL
I had to step carefully in this lift - you can imagine the smell

dog poo on the lift annoyed me enough to suggest I should have a look around

the grass is killed by bitch urine
this dog owner is not house trianed and has not learned what a poop scoop is

I think this gardener was in a hurry to go home

the other lift shows that yet another dog has been kept indoors too long

and that its owner has not thought of throwing down an old newspaper to sop up the mess

the tenth floor is 140 steps on the stairs above Crabtree Drive

to discourage crack smokers the stairs to the roof have been caged in

the graffiti says

it survived the Tuesday clean up

I stepped carefully over the dog excrement - cleaned up today, but replaced by urine in a corner

this childish graffiti has gone now

the last flight of 14 stairs from first to ground floor has a better finish

now to climb 98 steps back to my home, after 70 steps and arriving on the fifth floor, I am breathless and must stop until my heart rate falls.

When I get back I feel really good but so far I have forgotten to time my work outs.

Yesterday I walked down to the pharmacy in the medical centre
and then along the path with no name

take away by the medical centre - now RAT FOOD

I complained about this corner last summer but it is still not routinely cleaned

It is where this green fence turns right
with more rubbish in the background

at this bus stop in Bosworth Drive only one window was left intact,
the footpath comes out over the little green

IN DENMARK ALL THIS WOULD BE CLEAN BY NOW
the owner of the ground has the duty by law to clear snow, salt ice and pick up rubbish daily
